Nestled in a tranquil valley in the Kamberg region of KwaZulu Natal, and enjoying stunning views of the Giants Castle and the Drakensberg mountains. Heronmoor  is the perfect place to take a break.

Our self catering cottages makea wonderful base, whether you want to relax and enjoy the magnificent mountain views and walks, make the most of outdoor activities or explore the Midlands Meander.

Heronmoor farm is just over two hours from Durban and four and a half hours from Johannesburg.

There are 3 cottages which can accommodate 17 people in total. Heronmoor cottage sleeps 3 adults and has a covered private patio with hammocks looking up to Giant's Caste. The farmhouse sleeps 10 and has a large kitchen and large lounge with wonderful views of the mountain and a large fireplace for winter nights. Harleigh cottage is close to the farmhouse and sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. All our cottages have spectacular views looking on to the main berg.   The farm is also suitable for small conferences or strategic retreats (up to 14 people). The cottages are situated on a 300 hectare farm and there are two dams on the property.

Rates

Low season: (excludes December/January holidays, Easter,long weekends and World cup)
R250per person per night, minimum charge R300. A maximum charge of R2000 applies to the farmhouse

High season: December school holidays, Easter, long weekends and World cup
R275 per person per night, minimum charge R350.  A maximum charge of R2500 applies to the framhouse

10% discount on stays in excess of 4 nights or on mid week nights (Mon - Wed).
