Rocky Ridge Lodge and Conference CentreRocky Ridge Lodge in Kokstad is truly a ‘Home away from Home’DescriptionAccommodationWe boast seventeen newly built, large rooms, with a total of thirty four double beds and en-suite bathrooms. Each room consists of two double beds, a fan, a heater, tea and coffee facilities, DSTV, and for the ‘workaholic’, a desk with a study lamp and chair. All basic necessities, such as linen, towels and soaps, are supplied.
Our rooms are also serviced on a daily basis excluding Sundays. We also have laundry facilities available for those who wish to take care of some laundry. Alternatively, on request, we will take care of your laundry for you and have it back in your room when you return. Facilities & ServiceParking is never an inconvenience, as you have your own undercover parking bay, right next to your room, and our Lodge has electric access which secures your safety and that of your belongings at all times.
DiningRelax and unwind in our cosy, casual bar, or sit down to a delicious home-cooked breakfast or dinner in our buffet-style dining room. We cater for Diabetics, Vegetarians and most other dietary requirements on request.
Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am, and Dinner is served between 6pm and 8pm. We now also cater for Business Luncheons and Family Luncheons on request and for the early-birds, we could supply Lunch Packs or Breakfast Packs, in stead of a breakfast.
Conferences & WeddingsWe specialise in Business Functions, Conferences and Weddings. We have two wonderful conference centres, one of which caters for 16 persons, while the other seats 120 - 150 persons comfortably. We also cater for Christmas Parties and End Year Functions, Birthday Parties and many more, on request.
We have an immaculate barbecue facility on our deck, for those who wish to have a traditional South African meal or those who simply enjoys the outdoors.
Activities & AttractionsFarm walks, as well as fishing and hunting weekends can be arranged on request. One could walk for yours. For the more daring soul, air flips over East Griqualand are also easily arranged, as the local airstrip is only two kilometres from the Lodge. Please note that this is not for the faint-hearted.
